Description
Got a short story idea
that you think would make a good film? Bring your idea to the
workshop and learn how to put the story together into a short
film. Topics will include: How to write a good story,
Storyboards, Crew, Budget, Film vs. Video. At the end of the
workshop, participants will have the option of continuing the
workshop online.
Optional
Pre-assignment
Write a draft of
an original short film, 8 minutes in length. (If you do
not know the screenwriting format, use a play
format).
Mandatory
Pre-assignment
Bring a Short Story, Poem, or Script that you want to work on
during the session. If you have a script, bring at least 5 copies to
share with other participants, choose specific scene(s) that
you would like to work on during the workshop.
